Pests

Pests are insects that eat crops, food and plants etc. The pests I am talking about today are the ones that attack our plants. They eat them and put little holes in them to mark what they have eaten. It's either that, or they eat the tiny little bugs that are ON the plant.

The common plants that get attacked are ones that are stressed, crowded, or weak plants. They are the ones that attract most pests.

Even though these creatures are harming our plants, they are also helpful as the pollen on the flower or plant rubs off onto the bug and then the bugs carries it to another place, which it then gets fertilised allowing it to reproduce.

Pest spray, pest poison, toxic fumes are some ways to control pests. But if you are going to use SPRAY then it is likely to be absorbed into the plant which is no good for it, but the the insect takes a bite into the sap, they are killed.
You could kill the insects by giving them pest poison which they will eat and will also die instantly.
Toxic Fumes can also be used to suffocate them also until they are killed.

These are only some ways to kill your pests as there are many more efficient ways to kill them off.
There are also ways to keep the plant healthy and get rid of the pests.

The Life Cycle of a Plant

Most living things has a life cycle where they grow and then die. This goes for plants also.
  1. First the plant is not yet a plant, it is a seed.
  2. The seed then get's germinated using the following: Oxygen, water, sunlight/right temperature (which depends on what type of seed it is), and soil.
  3. The plant will grow and this will probably take a few months or so.
  4. The plant then flowers, but do take note that NOT ALL plants grow flowers.
  5. The plant then produces fruit, but as lilke the flowers NOT ALL produce fruit.
  6. The fruits however releases seeds so that they will be absorbed into the ground.
  7. The plant then dies and after that the cycle starts again with the seeds that have fallen into the ground.

Introduction

Hello, guys

My name is Annie, and this blog that I have created will all be based on Plants and their life as a plant. You will read about, photosynthesis, pests, types of plants, it's life-cycle, germination, tips, cells, and many more.
This is produced for my science project and so i hope you all support me til the end. Not only that, but I do wish that you learn a thing or two while reading my blog.

I have chosen a blog for my presentation because I feel like most people, when they want to find out something, they will search it up on the internet and sometimes blogs come up. I know not all people will click on blogs but some will as they feel it's best to get advice from real life experiences and people.

I do hope that this will be a success :)

Wish me luck and enjoy my blog!
